i-Portunus – Second Pilot Phase

More than ever i-Portunus’ mobility is needed to answer the existing and new needs of the creative sectors by offering a demand-driven mobility scheme that allows direct application through a straightforward and flexible process. 

i-Portunus, the EU’s valued mobility scheme for culture, is continuing to test different approaches to supporting short-term mobility of artists and cultural professionals.

A second pilot project was selected and co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. It is implemented by a consortium, headed by Goethe-Institut together with Institut français and Izolyatsia. This second pilot phase will run from end of 2020 to end of 2021. 

New Calls open on 9 December 2020 with deadline on 28 February 2021.

On Wednesday 9 December 2020, i-Portunus launches a call for applications for the MUSIC AND LITERARY TRANSLATION SECTORS.

Who can apply?

  • composers, musicians and singers, preferably in classical music, jazz, and traditional music genres;
  • literary translators.

What can you apply for?

Short-term mobility in the context of:

  • international collaboration;
  • a production-oriented residency;
  • professional development activities.

When: mobility between 2 June and 30 November 2021, conditions permitting. 

Duration: between 7 and 60 days. 

Maximum grant per person: 3.000,00 EUR. 

Deadline for submission of applications: 28 February 2021.
